My very first employee quit after only being on my team for seven months. For many business owners, this would be a negative. After all, time and effort were put into training this team member to only have to redo the work a few months later!
However, I see it as a good thing. And that’s not because she was a lousy employee that I couldn’t wait to see her go. Actually, she was just the opposite – a team member I would have loved to have with my company for years to come. But still, I couldn’t be happier that she quit as her staying on the team wouldn’t have been the best thing for both of us.
