About Monique McLeod:
Monique McLeod received her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Saint Leo University. Upon completion, she entered the startup and small business world to use her education and expertise to maximize her impact. She applies her combined knowledge of business management and post-crisis leadership to promote strong leadership qualities, culture development, and retention.
Her super powers are introspection and effective communication. She is best known for helping leaders to become more self aware, verbalize their ideas to create action items, and identify performance indicators to monitor progress. Monique primarily does this work through her company, The Management Suite, which is a boutique strategic management firm that specializes in building cult brands through organizational development. She helps small businesses create strategies to attract and retain employees and clientele that will rave about their brand.
Other notable work Monique has done include course writing contributions to Shaw University’s Aspire entrepreneurship program on the topic of business operations for small business owners. Monique currently serves as a Program Coordinator at Synapse Florida, a non-profit startup ecosystem in Tampa, Florida, that she has supported for over 2 years with its signature event the Synapse Summit within programming and speaker relations. In addition she also serves as a fractional Director of Operations for a digital marketing automation agency. Previously, Monique served as the first Program Coordinator for the non-profit startup Black Innovation Alliance. Prior to that she was an Operation Manager within the chemical coatings industry at Sherwin Williams. When not busy with work Monique prioritizes rest and relaxation at home in Tampa, Florida or out of town. Good food, no plans, just vibes.
